Mesdames Mallory et Leitner:
I've placed my name atop this letter so that an introduction wouldn't be necessary here. Now as for my life experience, I can't say I've been caught up in the system's machinery.
WHERE I'VE BEEN: At times, I've been described where I've been as "self-imposed seclusion." (OK, so "imposed" is a bit strong a word, but I couldn't think of anything else to call it.) Sometimes I've stayed up 'til the wee hours of the morning working on my novel. I needed a bit more in my life, but it took me a little while to realize this.
WHERE I AM NOW: I started finding a bit more to my life. And I'm not so deep within myself as I once had been. Some days during the class and/or a little bit afterward, my energy level rises a little bit. Who knows, maybe I might find new inspiration for my story, or a new direction altogether for my life – that's hard to say exactly.
WHAT THE CLASS HAS DONE: It has, at times, picked up my energy level. But maybe more than this, I'm back with a support network. (First time in years, just so you know.) Also, a sense of finding something more in my life has come back into me. And maybe if I can get my own life going, who's to say what else from there?
So there you have what the SPIRIT class has done for me.
With sincere gratitude,
